FONT DISPLAY SWAP: NOT WORKING

    Hello, i try to get rid of the error in page speed of the font swap.

    i use the THEME Mesmerize together with Autoptimize, i tried all the options in Autoptimize “EXTRA” section, try all the swap option but still, Google Pagespeed test gets it.

    but still, i didn’t get it… have an option to do the FONT SWAP with Autoptimize and get rid of the error in Pagespeed?

    BY THE WAY, I DONT KNOW IF IS HELP BUT I NOTICE IN THE “THEME BUNDLE SCRIPT” HAVE AWESOME FONT AND THIS WITH SWAP… BUT IS NOT HELP AND NOT GET RID OF THE ERROR IN PAGE SPEED AS WELL… ??

  • Plugin Author Optimizing Matters

    Autoptimize only optimizes Google Fonts (incl. display:swap) which this is not, to fix this you’ll have to check the theme CSS and make sure the theme’s @font-face CSS for the fontawesome font has font-display:swap set (see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/@font-face/font-display). Or ask the theme developer off course ??

    i send them a message hope they will answer quickly… i try to find it by my self but all
    the THEME files already minified and i did not successfully find the original style file
    of the THEME to change it… i try to put it in my costume CSS but is not working well.

    You can close the Topic, i talk with the THEME Developer see how i can
    solver it.
