Font Colors Don’t Display Properly

  • For some reason, font colors won’t change when using hyperlinks. Even though they are showing as black in the editor, the live site shows old colors I used to use long ago, and weird colors when you hover over them. If you scroll down the main page to the books, you’ll notice that the links to the books have those old colors even though they are black in the editor. Here’s a screenshot of the page.

    Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the late reply.

    I understand that you’re facing an issue with font colours not displaying properly.

    After inspecting your website, I realized that the font colours with the links to the books are inheriting the font colour of the theme.

    Since you are using Advanced Text blocks, you can edit the text link style inside the block settings as shown in this screen recording:

    Thank you for your reply. Your screen recording reflects what I did to change the colors. It would show as if I changed the color correctly on the edit page originally, but the live page would only reflect that inherent color. When I went back to re-set the color to black, I received the message you can see in this screenshot:

    This message appears on all these advanced text blocks I used on the page.

    Hi Nobuhle,

    That error can often be associated with other plugin conflicts. Can your confirm your theme and plugins are up to date? If so, I suggest deactivating your plugins to test if any are conflicting. Let us know if there’s no change.
