• My font is just a shade darker than my background, so it’s very difficult to see what the site user is typing. Is there a way to change the font color?

  • @bmarcus,

    Hi! thank you for writing.

    Would you share a link to your website?

    One initial way that comes to mind, of changing font color, might be to update the website’s theme’s css — what’s your experince level in this area?

    Will you write us back with an update of how you go with this?

    I didn’t realize, that I forgot to say which plugin. It’s the Contact Form 7 plugin. The link is protected, so I can’t give out the URL.

    @bmarcus

    Thanks for writing me back!

    What have you tried so far? For example have you tried using the CSS “color” property to change the color, for example in the theme’s css stylesheet files? What’s your level of familiarity with doing such?

    I mean the css color property as described for example here: https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_text_color.asp

    I’m sorry that we can’t see the site publicly.

    I suppose if that’s not possible, then we can try to work around that.
    Since I can’t access the site publicly, would you mind telling us more about the site — if all else fails maybe your setup can be reproduced on a dev/local setup in order to troubleshoot.

    What theme are you using? What is the degree of certainty that the font color is going to be needed to be changed inside Contact Form 7, as opposed to needing to be changed elsewhere such as in the theme settings or in CSS?

    Haha I hope you’ll humor me and describe in even more detail these things, so that I can get an idea of the current site setup! This’ll help me to get closer to being able to give valid and good advice ??

    Regards,

    Morgan
