    Why does the font on my PDF invoices change to an unreadable mess every time I move my site to a new server and how do I fix it or prevent it from happening in the future?

    I’m copying & pasting the reply I left you here:

    Yours seems to be a different issue, that could be related with the plugin fonts. Please note that our plugin creates an assets’ directory inside the?uploads?folder, with a name pattern like this:?wpo_wcpdf_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?(the X’s represent 32 random characters), which includes the fonts used in the PDF documents.

    If this hash changes for any reason (e.g. for migrating the site, like in your case), or a process deletes it, the plugin will not be able to get the fonts, producing the issue you described. That said, you can fix it easily by going to?WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Advanced > Tools?tab, and click on the?Reinstall plugin fonts?button.

    Please note that we also run a daily check to reinstall the fonts automatically if needed, but clicking the?Reinstall plugin fonts?button?forces this routine, allowing you to fix this faster.
