Font Awesome search icon displaying as boxes

  • Hi there. Please i need your help with my website.
    The font awesome/glyphicon search icon on the top navigation is showing as a box, instead of the magnifying glass I have added the following code to my .htaccess file and nothing has changed still.

    </FilesMatch>

    Please help me. the box really looks embarrassing.
