Font Awesome: Possible to add Display:Swap Method?

  • Loving the plugin, however font awesome is apparently a problem for Google Lighthouse. I’ve observed your code snippet for removing font-awesome. I’m wondering if there is a way to load font awesome icons using ‘display:swap’?

    I hope you’re doing well. We’re actively working on implementing the feature to disable Font Awesome icons, and we’ll add it as soon as possible. In the meantime, I’ll keep you updated on an alternative method to load Font Awesome icons using ‘display: swap.’

    If this approach is compatible with our plugin, we’ll incorporate it and inform you. I’ve already passed this information along to our Dev team.

    An option or code change to simply load font-awesome using ‘Display:swap’ would also be appreciated. Not all of us want to get rid of font-awesome entirely.
