The icons of font awesome are showing, though not all. Some icons just show a square and I don’t know how to fix it.

So this is how it looks like:

    Square

If I go to the console and remove the tick on “font” and “font-family” it will appear again correctly.
    I can’t understand why

    correct

If you disable that font rule, then what font is being used to generate the icons? Use the “computed” view if it’s not evident in the usual rules view. It may be useful to also know which stylesheet the rule comes from. You will need to disable autoptimize in order to see that in the inspector tool. What is the icon name for that specific icon? Could that icon be a free vs. pro thing?

pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize (I’m the developer) on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps debugging,
