Font Awesome?

    Hi,

    just wondering why Popup Box incorporates Font Awesome when I use the plugin. I am concerned with my WP site getting bloated and slow with the increasing number of plugins that I use.

    I was looking through the source code for a page on my site and saw this:

    <link rel='dns-prefetch' href='//use.fontawesome.com' />

    I looked up Font Awesome and it doesn’t seem to have any direct relevance to Popup Box – what’s it used for, and if I’m not using it, can I disable it? From this code snippet, it looks like it’s definitely causing another HTTP request.

    That’s the page where I use the Popup Box.

    Thank you for the topic.

    The Font Awesome is being used for icons.

    Thank you for bringing the issue to our attention.
    We will optimize it in the upcoming update of the plugin. Moreover, we will completely remove the font awesome from the public in one of the upcoming updates.

    I will notify you when there is an update.
