I am sorry for the inconvenience right now you can add the following code into your functions.php as a workaround I am working on it and release the updated version soon.

function wpdocs_dequeue_script() {
    wp_dequeue_script( 'kit.fontawesome' );
}
add_action( 'wp_print_scripts', 'wpdocs_dequeue_script', 100 );

Ideally, when using your plugin, it would not list as “unregistered client” either on the aforementioned Font Awesome plugin:

Hope you are doing good today ??

I just released the updated version of the plugin, which is no more dependent on FontAwesome anymore to avoid conflicts between FontAwesome 5 and 4. Thank you so much for being an awesome user and always pointing out the issues.

Please update the plugin and let me know if the issue still exists.

I have never seen this notice before. Can you please point out or share a screenshot where it’s showing this notice?

I can’t now. Sorry. When I clicked “Install update now” from the “View Details” screen it went through it all, but I noticed that sentence towards the top of the screen.

It might be because I recently switched on settings to show php debug and wordpress debug. I have not switched them off. Maybe that is why i got the warning? wordpress debug on. Switch it off now …

I actually have the same problem even with the latest version of the plugin. As soon as I activate the plugin, all the icons on my website turn to squares or X’s. Downloading the font awesome plugin fixes some of the issues but causes others so I’m a little confused as to what I should do. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you share your site URL where you are facing the issue? As in version 5.2.0 I am not including any Fontawesome icons library. I am using custom icons for my plugin.

I will be happy to have a look at your site and try to find out what’s actually the issue is.

Also try clearing plugin cache if installed and try checking in incognito window
