Font Attributes Change But Not Actual Font

I have followed your video and all is exactly as it should be with one exception.

I can change colour, size, etc of the font and it is reflected in the window, but I can’t change the actual font.

I’ve tried several of the fonts listed, including the one shown in the video, Cabin Sketch, but the font remains the basic default font.

I can make it red or green, make all capitals, increase or decrease the size, but I can’t change the actual font.

What am I missing?
