My current theme has an option to use google fonts (chosen from the theme options menu). I’m using Montserrat and for some reason, it appears in all boldface on Chrome. Tested in Safari and don’t have this issue. Also tested in Firefox and the issue is there.

I tried with a couple of other Google fonts and they didn’t have this issue.

I included screenshots for the Montserrat example.

Any ideas how to fix this? Developer of the theme hasn’t really been that responsive.

(Firefox looks the same as Chrome)

A link to your blog or the screenshots would help. Said you attached screenshot but I don’t see any here.

My theme had Google fonts until I noticed it looked like crap on my mom’s XP system.

Well, I went to https://www.google.com/fonts/ and the Montserrat font looked the same in both Firefox and IE9 in Windows 7. A link to your blog would help so I could compare there. Might be the font size or something coming into play.
