font and spacing keep changing

  • Hi there,

    I’m having issues with my font and spacing.
    I think Astra theme keeps overriding my settings.

    After i set my paragraph and spacing correctly, when i post it,
    some paragraphs will act up and spacing and fonts will go crazy again.

    I even went into the source code and changed it to H4 to ensure it will remain as that, after saving it reverts to p for paragraph.

    I’ve spent 1 day on the same page re-correcting and i really need help.

    I have also followed suggestions from some forums to add this in my CSS.

    p > :last-child { margin-bottom: 0 !important; }
    .entry-content p > :last-child { margin-bottom: 0 !important; }

    ?Would you mind providing us more details about what you were trying to achieve, so we can share our thoughts on that? And also, instead of from Astra, the setting is coming from the Elementor Theme Style. Please refer to this screenshot.

    hi Herman,

    thank you for your reply. ah i see, it is elementor settings.

    I would like to have a standardized font in my paragraphs.
    And whenever i do spacing in my paragraphs, i just need 1 line spacing, instead of the system pumping extra empty lines.

    currently it looks like this

    Would you be able to advise me what i should do? thank you.

    hi Herman,

    I checked elementor forums and tried one suggestion.
    i regenerated CSS from Elementor -> Tool.

    I think it partially solved my problem though i still had font and spacing issue. After redoing 5 times, i could get it to display ok. I will test the next few pages. can you leave this post open for the meanwhile?

    Hi @tanju1979,

    ?On the Astra theme, you can configure it through Global Typography on the Customizer, where you can also configure the Line Height and Paragraph Margin Bottom.

    ?However, if you are using the Elementor Theme Style, then the Astra settings will get overridden.
