Font and button lines have changed color to blue and purple all of the sudden

  • For no apparent reason my font/text and button lines/links have changed color to blue and purple.

    I found this code in the theme editor with a red x box next to this code .pagebutton:hover { border: 2px; border-color:black; color: white; background-color: gray; !important}. Not sure if that’s the problem. It said it needs to be fixed, but I have no clue how. It also said update it anyway but you could break your site.

    My drop down menu on my homepage has become transparent too over the slider. Which is awful from a design point of view and is bad for potential clients trying to view menu.

    Any help would be great. Youtube has nothing on this.

  • It appears there are some styles that aren’t loading. I looked a the Console tab of Google Chrome Dev Tools and I see this error:
    “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()
    g1-dynamic-style.php”
    Blue and purple are the default browser colors for links, so that means there are no styles being loaded by the theme for for the link colors.
    Styles not loading would also explain the drop down menu.
    What theme are you using? You should try contacting the theme developer to see if they have any insight on this.

    Thanks for responding! We are using 3 clicks theme, the child version.
