Why can some of my followers not subscribe to my blog? They have tried multiple times and they do not show up on my following list.

Are you referring to followers via the Jetpack plugin or something else? If something else, would you please describe how they’re following your blog?

Yes I have the jetpack plugin for followers. They are trying to sign up their email address and clicking on the subscribe button. Their email address is Australia. Would that make a difference?

Ah, those do not appear as Subscribers in WordPress in the traditional user-type sense.

You can see them by going to Jetpack -> Site Stats in your blog’s Dashboard and clicking “Blog” under “Subscriptions” at the bottom-left.

Actually I know where to find them, but I’m saying that the person who is telling me they are subscribed is not showing up. her email is .au could that be the reason she is not able to subscribe?

I don’t think so. Her email address might be linked to a WordPress.com account, which would make her a WordPress.com Follower and not just an email-only follower.

Because of WordPress.com’s privacy policy, WordPress.com Followers are not listed in the Jetpack lists.

If you ask Jetpack support, they might be able to help with that: https://jetpack.me/contact-support/

Thank you I will try that.
