Hi there, this is a follow-up to the ticket we were working on yesterday (see here), about the parent/child taxonomies in the URL structure. I did some more testing and encountered a related issue. When I added a second custom taxonomy to the URL structure, e.g.:

    <%ctax_property_type%>-<%ctax_property_status%>/%postname%/

The URL in-turn used both parent and child. Furthermore, it used the parent twice. The resulting slug from your plugin is:

    property/commercial-property-for-sale/house1/

    screenshot

To be clear, this particular post has the following assigned for the ‘property_type’ taxonomy:

    property (parent)
    commercial (child)

and the following assigned for the ‘property_status’ taxonomy:

    for-sale

Thoughts on this? This is a brand new property I’ve created.

@cag8f I have created the new child category for testing and created 3 new products and everything looks fine to me.

Not sure why you are facing this issue.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
