Follow Up Emails

    So here is what I want to do…When someone signs up for my newsletter and confirms their subscription, I then want them to automatically receive a follow up email thanking them for subscribing with a link to an ebook download.

    A friend who uses Mailchimp swears this is something that can be done in the free version, but if it is I can’t figure it out. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Hi Jordenp23,

    If you turn off the double opt-in setting, a new setting called Send Welcome Email? will appear. You can edit this email through the MailChimp Dashboard, under General Forms (it’s called Final “welcome” email).
