Follow up comment notification

I’m looking for a way to notify my readers when someone replies to their comment. I’ve tried the Comment Reply Notification plugin but it doesn’t seem to work. I wouldn’t mind if it was either comment subscription or an automated reply. Any ideas? Thanks!
