Follow button not working on self-hosted WP

I used this[1] follow button creation on my self-hosted WP website. (https://prateeksachan.com)

For a couple of days, it was working. But, now it doesn’t update the count of followers. In my stats, I can clearly see 6 followers (1 email+5 WP users). However, the count through this button shows only 3.
