Follow Button html not working

  • Hi,

    I’ve tried adding the html code you give to add the Follow Buttons to a page, but the code does not work. Here is what I’m using…

    <div class=”a2a_kit a2a_kit_size_32 a2a_default_style a2a_follow”>




    </div>

    I’m replacing the “AddtoAny”, “kevin”, etc. with my social media handles. When I save the changes, the icons appear in my page editor but when preview the site they aren’t there. Also, the code gets deleted.

    Can you please tell me how to get the Follow Buttons added to a page!

    When using WordPress post editor to manually insert the HTML code, be sure to remove all whitespace between the elements, and to place the code in the Text tab (not the Visual tab).

    For example:

    <div class="a2a_kit a2a_kit_size_32 a2a_default_style a2a_follow"><a class="a2a_button_twitter" data-a2a-follow="Twitter"></a><a class="a2a_button_facebook" data-a2a-follow="facebook"></a><a class="a2a_button_instagram" data-a2a-follow="instagram"></a></div>

    This still doesn’t work. Something isn’t right.

    It works in a default WordPress installation, so troubleshoot your site by temporarily switching to a default “Twenty” theme and deactivating all other plugins to pinpoint what is stripping code from your posts.

    Provide a URL to your site, and exact steps you’re taking, if you still can’t add the full code to a post using a default theme with all other plugins deactivated.
