“Follow Us” to do what?
If you want a “Follow Us” button that lets people subscribe to your website in WordPress.com Reader (as you see on WordPress.com blogs), then you need the JetPack plugin. There’s no way around that as this is a service provided by WordPress.com.
If you want to display buttons that let people follow you on various social media sites (or subscribe to your RSS feed with any RSS reader), the WordPress block editor has a built-in Social Icons block you can use.
But if you want the “Follow Us” button to do something else, then please explain exactly what you want to happen when people click the “Follow Us” button.
