Folding Categories? Category effects?

  • hey there guys,
    I’m building up a new wordpress powered article review site and I have some big problems with the categories!
    every product has at least 3 or more categories
    for example
    Electronics
    |–TV -> LCD -> Samsung
    etc

    is there a way to make wordpress show the Parent categories only, then when you click one of them, it folds down, showing the child categories and so on?
    I’ve tried many folding categories listed in the wordpress plugin section, but none of them seems to be the one I am looking for..

    the best would be something like the default sidebar in the admin panel..something which looks like that, something which is easy to control and easy to understand!

    any help appreciated!

    I have been trying to get wordpress to do the same thing – have only the parents categories show up and the child categories drop down when you click or hover on a parent category. Please let me know if you find anything.

    hey, actually I made it work i guess…there’s a plugin called WPDtree..
