Folders counter show a number of unassigned files

Hi
I’ve organised my media items into folders however folders show several unassigned files when I click on there unassigned folder, no files are shown.

I’m thinking this is not necessarily a problem with folders plugin but I would like to know how the files are queried so I can investigate in the database.

Please, ??
