Before purchasing the PRO version, I want to find out if the plugin provides the functionality I am looking for (for a client). After installation & config, all I have is an empty folder (see screenshot https://ovo.li/X9v7Wl).

    1) I have configured the root folder of the existing files on the web server, which are outside of the WP path, i.e.,

    /home/client-name/public_html/folder/WordPress 4.8-Installation
    /home/client-name/file-folder/root-folder/

That root-folder contains several sub-folders, which again contain sub-folders and files.

    2) I can create a folder and upload a file, but I cannot find that file via FTP anywhere.

    3) Diagnostics confirms that the file root folder I’ve configured is available.

    4) Permissions on this root-folder and all sub-folders is 0755. File permissions within the sub-folders are 0644.

    Anything I missed?

    Thx for any help

    Hello,

Creating folders and uploading files has to be accomplished via the web interface. You will not be able to find it by the same file name, via FTP, as the file name is saved within the database and the file, itself, has a special name.

To create a folder, use the folder icon at the top of the page. Documents can be imported via the first icon that has the blue arrow on it.

With the Pro version, of the plugin, it is possible to upload a files and link them for import into the DMS plugin.

    Best Regards,
