I have been unable to set the focus keyword since the last update. I can see the box where I’m supposed to be able to set it and I get the error message but there’s no field that allows me to add a keyword. I have looked over the forums and double checked the different settings. The only thing I was unable to find was the “SEO->Titles and Metas->Post Type” from one of the other threads. I have no clue what they are talking about and don’t see that option anywhere on my site. My site is self-hosted on iPage and I have double checked the user settings are set right… both boxes that say “disable” are unticked… and I redid the configuration settings. This worked up to the last update and now it doesn’t work.

I am the only author on my site so no other users. I did notice two new roles in the list, but I don’t know what they are: SEO Editor and SEO Manager. Since I am Administrator, I wasn’t sure what those roles were or why they’re there. Screenshot 1 shows the SEO Analysis box on one of my posts (it looks the same on all posts, past and present). Screenshot 2 shows the SEO Yoast settings I have now. Screenshot three shows my user settings part where I have those two boxes unticked. I’m at my wits end here. I don’t know what’s going on with the plugin. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

  • I have the same issue with both of my homepages, since the last update on Tuesday.
I have not changed any settings this week. And my second homepage is still under construction, again haven’t changed or worked on it in days.

Thank you in advance. Tried to post my own topic, but can’t find a way to do it.

Above what? Any other useful information than laughing at the issue and question? When someone comes here for help, they do so after sometimes hours or days of trying to fix the problem. So any useful information other than laughing at us and saying “he is above it now”? “Above” where? Exactly WHERE is it?

Found it. It is now above the Readability Analysis instead of in the SEO analysis… why it was moved is beyond me, but this can be closed now. Thanks

like you I didn’t see the changement fast. I just noticed that today, so it made me laugh. I’m not making fun of anyone. Peace <333
