FN Not Appearing/Numbering Out of Order

Again, thank you so much for your continued efforts and for this amazing plug in!

I am using the Bulan theme, and have tried several of the fixes referenced in older posts.
I want to alert you to two different types of issues I’m having, that seem to have something to do with 1) the length of the text within a footnote and 2) the “expert mode” settings.

The password for the following posts is “footnotetest”

Each paragraph is identical, yet for some reason, the second footnote doesn’t appear, and the footnoted text appears in-line. However, when the footnoted text is changed from the “lorem ipsum” paragraph, to just the word “test,” all four footnotes appear correctly and in the correct sequential order.

2) https://proceedings.nyumootcourt.org/2016/04/marden-sample-post/
Here, the footnote numbering is out of order: 1, 4, 3, 2. Again, when the length of the text within the first footnote is reduced, the ordering becomes sequential again (1, 2, 3, 4).

Finally, are there certain “expert mode” functions that should be activated or unactivated?
