    Hi,

First of all I want to thank you for your efforts in building this great plugin.

I have a question regarding the development of themes and plugins. It would be a great feature if the plugin would recognize edited files and re-upload them to CloudFront.

I tried to give the files a new version number every time the files were edited, but this doesn’t seem to work. Maybe you know a way to accomplish this.

Hope you can help. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Sjoerd,

In this case the CDN already has a cached version of the file stored on the edge server. Therefore if you make an edit to a file and want to update the cache you will need to purge that file’s url from your CDN’s dashboard. This will update the CDN’s cache with the most recent edit of your file.

This is separate from what the CDN Enabler sets out to do which is update the origin url to reflect the CDN url.

    Solved.
