    Hi

When using the Fluent View the following issues appear on the Single Event page:

    1) The name and the web address of the venue are not shown. Only the address appears.

    2) The categories are not shown.

When using the classic style everything’s fine. Is there a way to fix this?

    Thank you in advance

    Hi

Thank you for your (standard) answer. Unfortunately it doesn’t answer my question.

The widget is handled in the described way and it works properly when using the classic design. But when switching to Fluent View it doesn’t show the catergories and the venues name and webaddress any more.

I would appreciate it if you could help me with this issue as it seems to be a Fluent View problem.

    Thank you in advance.

Update: I see that the venues website is shown through the “Register Button” in the widget. Ok, got that problem solved although I would have loved it to have it in the “location block”.

Still the name of the Venue is not shown in Fluent View! And the categories are not shown, too. Is that a premium feature? I’m thinking of buying the premium plugin but I would like to be sure that it works.

Thank you for your patience and your help.

    Kind regars

    Hi @bj_bundy,

Regarding the categories, you can enable any category for your event and it will be shown on the top of the title, here: https://i.postimg.cc/bYWHS6Ny/image.png | https://i.postimg.cc/15LkjD0m/image.png

Regarding the map view, yes, you need to use the pro version to show the map and more details about your location(s): https://i.postimg.cc/Mp9yGmsx/image.png

And regarding the location widget(without a map on MEC lite) yes, you right I’ve found the issue (condition of the issue) so, this is forwarded to the developer team and it will be fixed for the next updates.

    Best Regards

Thank you very much for your help. Of course the categories were shown … ??

Have you got any update on the ?venue issue“? When will this bug be fixed? I meanwhile bought the pro version of the MEC and I’m filling my calendar with events but this little bug diminishes my joy.

    Best regards
