Floating widget outside of theme area

  • Hello everyone,

    I’m currently working on a site with BudyPress and the Custom Community theme installed. This is the site:

    I’m using the full page template for the home page, and I would like the have to login/register widget float outside of this area. I’ve tried several different widgets, but they all put the box inside the content area, which is not what I want.

    I also tried editing the page template and implementing this code:

    I could not get that to work, either.

    Can anyone offer some suggestions?
