    Hey Aakash,
Thanks a ton for this feature-rich yet free plugin. I recently switched from Shareaholic to WP Socializer and really loving it.

However, there is some problem in sharing buttons when the site is viewed from mobile.

    I have enabled the following:
Mobile Sharebar (Display Condition: Displayed on Mobile devices alone)
Floating Sharebar (Display Condition: Displayed on Desktops alone)

So, as per the configurations, Mobile Sharebar (Sticky) should be displayed for the Mobile users while the Floating Sharebar should be hidden on Mobiles.

But most of the time, I am seeing “Share Icon” from Floating Sharebar even on Mobiles. The Sticky Mobile Sharebar is nowhere to be seen. Please, let me know if this is a known issue or is there a fix available for this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Here is an article’s screenshot where you can see the Sticky Mobile Sharebar isn’t shown but the Floating Sharebar’s Icon is being displayed instead.

    Hi @preetji,

    Thanks for using WP Socializer.

I think the issue is because caching. The cache is created for desktop website, so when the same desktop cached page is given mobile the sharebar is displayed.

Kindly note that the mobile/desktop detection is NOT done using JavaScript instead it is done in the server side itself because of which this scenario is seen.

There is no issue with this feature as you can try my dev page – https://little-convenience.000webhostapp.com/2019/04/hello-world

Please do check your caching plugin if there is an option to create cache for separate mobile and desktop. You can also confirm the same by accessing the page without caching enabled.

If you are aware of css, you can write some simple CSS to hide the floating sharebar in mobile and desktop for the mobile sharebar.

    Thanks,
    Aakash
