Is the error from the Settings menu link or from. the Plugins page? If the latter, there is a bug which I will fix later today when I am home.

Please forgive my inability to properly use your plugin. I am very new at WP and don’t understand how to enable the plugin. Your plugin is probably just fine. My first post was regarding entry through the Settings link under the plugin on the Plugin Page.

    I have:
    Installed and activated the plugin.
I filled out the Configuration page thusly [My entries in brackets]:

    `Default Path); ?>
    [https://localhost/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/]
    Set default folder for images
    [This is the media folder]

    Default Image); ?>
    [Card2.jpg]
Set default image used when no img attribute set

    Default Title); ?>
    [Business Card]
    Set default title for image

    Default Alt
    [Business Card]
Set default alt text for image

    Default Taxonomy Is Tag
    [Checkbox unchecked]
    Default Taxonomy Is Tag?

    Default Taxonomy
    [Blank]
Set default taxonomy to hyperlink image (default is to use category unless Is Tag is marked)

    Again, my beginner question:
Do I need to insert some code through the Custom CSS?
Do I need to insert some code on the individual page?

I also get this warning using 4.2:
Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.

Thanks for your patience with a rank beginner.

I haven’t finished testing against new version yet, but everything looks fine.

No code should be needed in CSS or page.

To use the image on a page enter [featured-image] wherever you want the image displayed.

    Well, that was easy. =^)

But it doesn’t ‘float’. Remains static where I placed it.
Or do I have the wrong impression of what it’s supposed to do? (…in that I thought it would float up and down the right side as the page is scrolled)

(And I now understand a little more about short code, thank you.)

It will ‘float’ to the right side of the page in the section it is posted in, but does not more up and down.

See for an example post<a/> where the image is shown in the rightmost top corner of the post.

I created the plugin to give an easy way of adding a ‘featured’ maget each of my posts on the sites I maintain. The floating refers to the css ‘float: right;’.

Thank you so much for your time. You have taught me much.
I’ll comment after I’ve used it a bit, but it looks very useful.
