Hello! Thanks for the great plugin. I can’t for the life of me figure out one thing. I recently redesigned a site that has your plugin and social icons floating on the left side of the screen. To see the floating icons, see the old site here: https://www.myeasypaleomeals.com/html_orig/

I have the plugin installed on the new site and imported the exact same settings as the old site, but I can’t figure out how to get the icons to show on the left like the old site. Here is the new site where I need the floating icons: https://www.myeasypaleomeals.com/

Do you have any insight on how I can add the floating icons on the left of the screen for the new site?

    I appreciate your help!!

  • Hi @nuonis,

It appears you have a new install of the plugin on your website, which issued you a new Site ID. I also noticed the new Site ID that has not yet been connected to your Shareaholic.com account.

Would you mind going into your WP > Shareaholic > App Manager, and click the “Configure additional feature” button on the top right? Here’s what that looks like: https://www.screencast.com/t/yWgpm5n9yXH

Once you do that, it should link your plugin to your account. That should bring up the correct website settings to enable the Floated Share Buttons. Let me know once you’ve done this! Happy to verify that this is working.

    Thanks,
    Mary Anne

    Hi Mary Anne!

Thank you so much for the response! I will do this today.

Quick question… with your plugin, is it possible to only have the floating icons show up on mobile phones? Is there this option? If so, I will use it for another site!

    Thanks,
    Sinoun

    Hi again!

Just wanted to let you know that I was able to figure out how to only put the floating icons on mobile view! I LOVE this plugin! So easy to use and the options are awesome.

One other question though… I am using this for another client and she only wants the icons to show on mobile phones, not tablets. On tablet view, her site shows other on-page social icons, which is why she only needs it for mobile view.

Is there an option to remove the floating icons for tablets?

    Hi @sinoun,

Thanks for waiting. And glad you were able to get your mobile floated share buttons appearing on your site!

1.) As for your client, when she views her site on her tablet, do they appear as regular floated share buttons (on the left side of the screen) or do they look like mobile floated share buttons?
2.) What size screen and device is she using?
3.) What is the URL to her site? I’d like to see if I can reproduce the issue on my end.

    Thank you,
    Mary Anne
