The team members listed on this page are using the flipbox plugin. Recently they stopped displaying properly and show the code instead. We have tried disabling other plugins, but that doesn’t seem to help. Not sure what to do from here. Is this a known problem? Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Hi supernaut510,
    Hope you are doing well.

?Thank you so much for sharing the details and URL with us. I have checked the issue on your website. Actually, the?Flipbox?block that you are using is not from our?Flipbox?block plugin. I didn’t find the block from our Flipbox block plugin on that page.

If it is from our?Flipbox?block plugin, then you would see the class?eb. Please check this screenshot:?https://d.pr/i/4VYdIu?. But on that page there is no block that contains .eb class, so this issue is not related to our plugin. So, I am really sorry to say that, we are not aware of the issue regarding this block. For prompt and proper support, please contact the respective support team.

?Please let us know if you face any issues regarding our any blocks/plugins.

    Thank you.
    Have a good day!

    Hello supernaut510,
    Hope you’re doing well.

As this issue is not related to our plugin, and we are unaware of that issue so, we’re going to mark this topic as resolved now.

Please feel free to let us know if you face any issues further with our any blocks or plugins and we will assist you.

    Thank you!

I finally got to the bottom of this, and you guys are going to want to know about it. The plugin “Flip Box” by CakeWP (which as far as I can tell, is no longer being maintained) must be using a duplicate plugin name or some other variable. An update for a previous version of Flip Box by CakeWP points to version 1.3.1 of YOUR Flipbox plugin. So it’s essentially overwriting the CakeWP plugin with your plugin, breaking everyone’s sites–if you search “et_pb_flipbox” you can find tons of sites with the same problem, showing shortcodes on the front end. Maybe it’s a sales opportunity for you. In any case, I thought you would want to know in case others contact you about it. Cheers.

Hi. I know this is marked as resolved. I just went to make some updates to a website for a client where I am using Flipbox plugin. The code is showing on the page. Please advise. I have the latest version of the plugin. southmountaintitle.com – flip boxes are on the home page.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

As mentioned above, if you were using the plugin “Flip Box” by CakeWP, it may have been overwritten by this “Flipbox” plugin by WPDeveloper during an auto-update. I don’t believe the CakeWP plugin is maintained any longer. You will need to revert to the old version of the CakeWP plugin (maybe from one of your backups) or re-build your flipboxes with this (or another) flip box plugin.

Thanks for the response. I am not using Flip Box by CakeWP. I am using Flip Box by WP Developer. Here is the page I’m having trouble with: https://www.southmountaintitle.com.

    Thanks,

I think you have the same problem described above–the Cake WP plugin was accidentally overwritten by the WP Developer plugin. I believe Cake WP uses the class “et_pb_flipbox” as seen on your page. WP Developer uses the class “eb”, as mentioned above, so those flipboxes don’t appear to have been created by the WP Developer plugin.

I am replying in an effort to help, because I think you’re experiencing the same problem I once had. But if you need further help, you can always reach out to WP Developer support to verify, by opening a new Topic. Good Luck!

Thanks so much for replying. I appreciate your help very much. So how do I fix it? I have the WP Developer Flip Box plug in installed and activated. I don’t have the Cake WP plugin installed. I’m confused. I use Divi to build my websites. Do you know if WP Developer Flip Box still works with Divi?

I believe this plugin works with Divi, but if you’re in the same situation we were in, you’ll have to rebuild all of your flipboxes. I would encourage you to open your own ticket to see if there’s anything their support can do to help you.
