Flipbooks gone in dashboard

    All flip books that were created in the past have vanished from the backend, yet they are still accessible with their shortcodes. Any ideas?

  • You’re not alone. I’m having the same issue. I don’t have a solution to let you edit the old books, but I found a way to at least see them in the backend.

    It looks like the author switched to using a custom post type and didn’t include an update (not that I could find) that would automatically transfer the existing books to the new system.

    This URL allowed me to see my missing books. However, like I said, I can’t get it to let me actually edit any of the books. https://your-site-url/wp-admin/admin.php?page=real3d_flipbook_admin

    I might just have to recreate 14 books ??

    I found an old version of the plugin and was able to retrieve my flip books.

    The fix for missing flipbooks in dashboard is to deactivate the plugin, activate the plugin and wait for “Updating flipbooks” to complete.
