Flipboard not picking up images

I have a similar issue with Flipboard and with Feedly. My image shows up in the RSS Feed too. And it has not made my feed Flipboard friendly as claimed.

Any help would be great.

How did you add it? Had same issue and fixed it by use feed://www.yoursite.y/feed/ as adress for the feed. Let Flipboard search and it should find the feed. Seems using adress without feed: seems not to work. Did not change anything for the plugin, only set permalink to this structure and added a permalink fix, but should also work with wp default structure.. Cheerz, Raphael

Still no luck here. As far as I can tell, Flipboard is just odd and buggy (I think there is a lot of caching going on with the app itself… but clearing it isn’t always successful.) I’ve got just about all the other social-media type feeds nailed down, but can’t seem to get Flipboard solved. The only solution I’ve found, for my sites, is to actually imbed images into the post, and I don’t want to do that…. it was kind of the point of this plugin.

I’ve mostly tested with just Firefox or Chrome. Even Feedly seems to have gotten kind of odd since Google’s RSS reader went away. I think they are trying to become a Flipboard or something, rather than a RSS reader.

latests update has a new media:thumbnail tag, so this can help flipboard and others to find post thumbnail. But for me, it is working on flipboard as it should ?? there may be some other problem ??

I will add a setting to choose size of post thumbnail in RSS – it may be that flipboard is ignoring smaller thumbs… So this in fact may be related to template / WordPress setting of thumbs size and quality.

Oh, that’s interesting, I’ll look forward to that setting. My images are bigger, but maybe WordPress is auto-scaling them down or something.
