Hello,
I have a problem with the display of my Flip Books.

I am using the plugin “3D FlipBook : Dflip Lite”. I used it to create flip books with images (.webp format). I have used all the default settings except for a different background color.

Everything works perfectly on the desktop, on the laptop and in the mobile view on the cell phone.
Only on my tablet do I only see completely BLACK PICTURES.

Even when paging, only completely black pages are displayed.

When I click on the plus sign to enlarge the view, the image is suddenly displayed (with enlargement). If I then use the minus sign to return to the normal view, only a black image is displayed again.

If I show the thumbnail display, the thumbnails in the margin are also displayed correctly, but the page display remains black.

I work with a Samsung Galaxy Tab A, model number SM-T555. I have this problem in all browsers: Chrome (version 119.0.6045.194), Mozilla Firefox (131.0), Ecosia.
The browser cache has been cleared.

The problem seems to be due to the settings on my tablet, as I only see black pages even in the demo examples you provide on your homepage.

What could be the reason?

Hi,

We tried to get hold of the device but we are not able to get that model in our test devices.

Also it is not available in Browserstack.com so we could not check there. But the flipbook work in other Android devices.

Since we are not able to recreate the issue it is very hard to pinpoint the issue.

Since it doesn’t work in the flipbooks in our homepage too. It can be a device issue.

Hi,

is this your device: https://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_tab_a_9_7-7122.php its a 2015 model and samsung provides updates for 2-3 years so the max android supported was android 7. https://doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-T555/004541190403/eng.html

I don’t think there is an official android 10 release for that device from samsung. In our plugin anything less than or equal to android version 9 switches to 2d variant. Which you had working in our example.

Please confirm this, if this device is manually updated to version 10, then we cannot do anything due improper driver support.
