• I use Flickr to manage my photos and videos for my WordPress blog. Photos are working fine. I embed the videos using [flickr video= ]. I have been doing this way for years. Now, all of a sudden, when I embed videos, they just show up as black boxes. If I link to older videos, they work just fine. It is only on newer videos. I have tried uploading them via several methods (online uploader, and older flickr uploadr). No matter what I do, I cannot get any new videos to display properly on my blog. These videos were shot with the exact same camera, using the exact same settings as other videos that are working. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried all sorts of different plugins, and other forms of linking back to the flickr videos. They all produce the same results: just a black box.

I have tried a couple different methods of embedding. Flickr said they wouldn\’t help because it\’s a third party. They suggested using https, because they require SSL now. I tried [flickr video=https://video URL] among others. I have tried a couple different plugins. My photosvideos are public. I can’t figure out why all my new videos show a black box, but all my older videos show up fine. Has anyone else seen this? I haven’t seen any other posts of people having a problem very similar to mine.
