Flickr photos no longer loading

  • After the last update of WordPress, Flickr photos are no longer loading properly. It loads a few images, but then gets ‘stuck’ and is unable to load the entire wall of images. The loading is patchy, for some albums, it loads only the first photo in the wall, for others, it loads almost the whole wall but gets stuck at the end. Would appreciate some support as this is THE BEST flickr gallery plugin. I’m sure loads of people wouldn’t mind paying to keep it updated… more than willing to make a donation so my problem is fixed!

  • Hi all, we had the same problem on our website after the WP 4.4 update. Now, we’ve resolved the problem by unchecking “Block right click” in plugin settings. (If enabled, the context menu will be blocked, so for the user is more difficult to save the images). This part of the script was preventing Flickr photos to load properly. Hope this helps the matters for someone…

    Hi Miro, after updating your plugin to version 3.4.1 on our website, everything is back to normal, we have NO problem with loading photos from Flickr. Thank you very much for your great work!! It is appreciated!!

    Still having the same issue with version 3.4.1. It seems to be a problem with the lightboxes. When completely disabling lightboxes, everything is loading fine. When choosing a lightbox without providing it, the plugin gets stuck, but WP lightbox 2 is working well (But not Responsive Lightbox…). When providing, all is loading and both lightboxes open when clicking an image…

    Disabling lightboxes for now. Any idea?

    Thanks for the great plugin. We’ve just noticed this error on our client’s site:

    CURL error: “SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate”

    We’re on WordPress 4.6.1 and 3.4.1 of Flickr Justified Gallery.

    Ideas?
