Flickr Justified Gallery Update 3.4.0 only displays first gallery in a page

  • Hi Miro,
    I am successfully using FJG on several WordPress websites, most with a gallery page displaying a few Flickr Galleries, but the last update caused the gallery page to display only the first Flickr Gallery and have the rest not display anything at all. I have since gone back to version 3.3.6 which works fine.

    An example of it working fine ver 3.3.6 – https://www.chaplincando.com/gallery/
    all galleries are displaying.

    An example of not working ver 3.4.0 – https://www.solarreflex.co.uk/gallery/ Automotive is the only gallery displaying, the 3 others are blank.
    No coding in the pages have been changed. When I revert this website to ver 3.3.6 it works fine again.

    Can you help with this please?

  • Hi Willie,

    This problem seems to be related to “Block right click” feature. If you disable it, you will get your galleries working again.

    @miro, there seems to be typo in function name: “fpDisableContextMenu is not defined” (should be “fjgwppDisableContextMenu” according to JS file).

    Thanks, I removed the “Block right click” in the security and updated the FJG to ver 3.4.0 on https://www.chaplincando.com/gallery/ and it does not work – Edinburgh Fringe 2011 – will not display. It is only displaying the first Gallery – Covent Garden.

    I went through all the settings in “All in 1 WP Security and Firewall” WP Plugin, and removed them one by one (including Block right click) and this made no difference. There is only 2 Galleries on this page , but like all the other websites, if I update to ver 3.4.0 it will only display the first Gallery. ver 3.3.6 works fine – I cannot figure it out.

    Hi Willie,

    For some reason the broken code that should block right click is still being printed with both galleries.

    Not sure why, but you may want to check that:
    1) Shortcode of both galleries do not have block_contextmenu attribute.
    2) You don’t have Flick Photostream plugin active (or even deactivated) with the same option (block right click) turned on – it seems that Flickr Justified Gallery reads settings from the Flickr Photostream as kind of fallback.

    Your other option is to try to fix the plugin yourself: go to plugin folder, open flickr-justified-gallery.php file and replace fpDisableContextMenu with fjgwppDisableContextMenu.

    Spot on! That did the trick – replacing fpDisableContextMenu with fjgwppDisableContextMenu (line 405).

    I have the same problem. I replaced replacing fpDisableContextMenu with fjgwppDisableContextMenu, and the first time I looked at the page, all the photo albums showed, and now only 2 of 6 show, the rest show

    Flickr API error: Photoset not found

    And it appears that that happens if I go to the next page on one album. The albums that don’t have enough images for the next page show up as not found. Shouldn’t they operate independently of each other?

    Really hate the idea of having 6 pages of albums instead of 1 page of 6 albums. Hope you can help me.
