  • Any chance you would share your code?
I have struggled for days and still not working.
I am using this code at this time but not working.
    [netcam-live url=”https://webcam.pointbaymarina.com/” refresh=”2000″ width=”100%”]

    [netcam-live url=”https://192.xxx.x.xxx” refresh=”2000″ width=”100%”]

    Thanks
    Brad

    Hi Charts.
I’m sorry if I reply late, very busy period.
I saw your website, nice view ??
About the flickering… this is a very simple plugin, there are better methods to offer a live from a netcam but they are complex.
The resolution you are using (720p) is big so sometimes there are small gaps between the “removing frame 1” and “pushing frame 2”.
I hope to improve this in future, but currently I can’t do better…

    Hi Brad.
Please open a new thread for your problem.
By the way, I think that you are using the wrong URL for the netcam – my plugin needs to be pointed to a single image (usually JPEG) of the live stream.

I placed a jpg in my root and then put this in my WP PAGE

    [netcam-live url=”https://pointbaymarina.com/webcam_image.jpg” refresh=”2000″ width=”100%”]

The image displays but the webcam does not show up.

webcam_image.jpg just “blinks” every ew seconds.

Of course, it’s a static image.
How could it change if it is always the same file?

Almost every netcam has an internal URL that offers a single image from the live. If you open it in the browser directly you will see an image, if you refresh the browser you will see another image, etc.
You have to use that URL with my plugin.

For example for an Axis device see the last part of this page:
