I’ve installed and activated the plugin (as admin) but it’s not showing in the site-editor via /search or by browsing.

    Any suggestions appreciated!

    Hi,

In order to narrow down the cause, I would appreciate it if you could tell me the following:

    • Can you insert the block in the post editor instead of the site editor?
    • Does it reproduce even if you change to the default theme such as Twenty Twenty-Four?
    • Does it reproduce even if you disable all other plugins?

Very sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    1. It doesn’t show up in the post editor either.
    2. I’m currently using the Twenty Twenty-Four Theme.
    3. Yes, it’s the same with all other plugs disabled (apart from the ‘WordPress automation by Installatron’ plugin which is ‘must use’ & cannot be disabled).

It’s a newly setup site hosted on 123.com, I only have two or three plugins. I’m fairly new to wordpress, so please don’t assume it’s not User related. ??

First off I installed it manually, when that didn’t work. I uninstalled and reinstalled via ‘New Plugin’

I’ll double check the folder permission after work, if that’s a thing?

Thanks for helping out, your valuable time is appreciated.

So far, I haven’t heard of any reports of not being able to insert this block, so I’m wondering if it’s some kind of environmental issue.

Could you access the URL below and check that you can insert blocks? This is the official tool for accessing the temporary WordPress environment and is active while your browser is open.

Normally, the block should appear in the Text category.

It’s working on the same PC\Browser perfectly.

    Thank you for checking.

If so, it may be a problem specific to your WordPress site. Although it is a little difficult to resolve specific issues, I recommend testing again in a clean environment, or with the default theme and all plugins disabled.

Ok, Thanks for your time Aki ??

If it’s okay with you I’ll leave this open for a couple of days while I reset everything.

Just by way of feedback, you were right it was the environment.

After uninstalling & reinstalling WordPress the FTB plugin worked just fine.

Thanks again for your time ??
