I have set up rules for free and paid shipping depending on purchase amount. For example orders under $20 are charged $5 shipping, while orders over $20 get free shipping. Mostly this works as expected, however it does not work with subscription products.

For example, a subscription product of $28 should get free shipping, but at checkout shipping is listed as $5, bringing the recurring total to $33. I have pasted below the checkout summary.

I think this may be because an initial amount is not actually charged at checkout but at a later date (weekly fee). Subsequently the $0 total does not trigger free shipping.

Can you please suggest how I may fix this issue, thank you.

    PRODUCT SUBTOTAL
    Weekly Subscription × 1 $28.00 every Sunday

    Subtotal $0.00
    Total $0.00

    Recurring totals
    Subtotal $28.00 / week
Shipping via Hobart $5.00 / week
FREE DELIVERY for orders over $20

    Recurring total $33.00 / week

Hi – sorry I had replied to your email as I didn’t see the small print at the bottom asking to reply here – also where am I to upload the screenshots to on this forum?

There are now additional errors, where customers are being charged the delivery fee for existing subscriptions and this has caused bounced payments. It is quite urgent to fix this issue.

    Hi @emmacazaly,

If you already emailed us directly, then let’s continue the conversation via email. It’s easier to pass screenshots or credentials (if needed) and find the right solution. Also, if you see additional errors – please add them to your email and we’ll address them as soon as possible.

Considering the above, if you don’t mind, I’ll mark this thread as closed.

    Kind regards,
    Piotrek
