    Hi there,

I’d like to set up a XML Google Shopping feed with your plugin. And I use flexible shipping plugin to have lower shipping costs for higher cart values.

When I setup the XML feed and choose “Shipping” as value for the shipping feed. The variables saved in the feed are wrong. Wrong prices and I don’t like the labels. If I choose “shipping costs” as value, then the shipping costs are correct (which I know from previous testing with CSV sheets) but they aren’t put into the feed (result: “<g:shipping/>”).

So I guess I need to add the Country and Shipping Label in the prefix/suffix fields. Or sth similar. So what do I have to enter to get the plugin to format the shipping info correctly in the XML format?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Kind regards,
    Laurent

    Hi @biiissen ,

We have an article on setting up shipping: How to add Shipping costs to your Google Shopping feed – AdTribes.io

About the prefix/suffix, It might apply to your setup and I’m not 100% sure. Right now Google uses prefixes to set the country of the shipment: Shipping [shipping] – Google Merchant Center Help

Usually, you’ll want to use the rules and filters to change the values so it match your requirements.

For the format of the values, this can’t be changed you’ll need to use rules and filters. Another way is to create a custom field and set the format/value you’d want it to use.

    Hi @superlemon1998,

thanks for your reply and help.

That doesn’t really solve my problem. Anyways I’ll go with the standard shipping field, even if there are some errors in the shipping costs. At least then the feed is produced consistently with no errors in the other fields.

Everything else I tried led to a broken feed, which is way worse then just some minor imperfections in the shipping costs.

    Kind regards,
    Laurent
