Hi, I have a flexible content field “Builder Content” used on all content with post type = page.

I set up a “settings modal” so the user can select options for the output etc. The field group is called “Content Settings”. And that is working fine.

When I created the “Content Settings” field type, what should I use for location rules? I can’t/don’t want to select “page” because then it shows up twice. But I don’t want to use this on any other post type, it’s only supposed to show up in this settings modal.

By default it’s showing up on post type = “post”.

Any suggestions, other than just hiding the field with CSS on blogs? Am I doing this wrong?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback!

In order to not display a Field Group anywhere in the WordPress Admin, you can simply set it as “Disabled” in the “Group Settings”. See screenshot.

This setting will nullify the “Field Groups Locations” and hide the Field Group on any Post Edit screen. However, don’t worry, the Field Group will still work as a Clone or as a Flexible Content Modal Settings Clone.

    Hope it helps!

    Have a nice day!

    Regards.
