I have flat shipping on my site, so if a customer orders two items their total should be A+B+$4. But when they checkout, it appears that Paypal is recalculating the shipping based on how many items are in the basket (A+B+$4+$4). So the charges they are getting are $4-$32 higher than the receipt they are getting from WooCommerce.

How do I stop this from happening and what are the best way to correctly refund these customers? There are at least 30 of them. I tried doing a $4 refund in WooCommerce, but the customer says it hasn’t been refunded yet (despite receiving an email from Woo that they’ve been refunded).

I’m using WooCommerce 3.4.1, WordPress 4.9.6, and WooCommerce PayPal Powered by Braintree Gateway 2.1.2. The issue seems to have occurred just recently, perhaps since Woo’s GDPR update. I’ve reached out to braintree for support, but no answers yet. Since this is a new issue, I’m not sure it’s an issue from their plugin.

    Hi there,

I can see that you have received a response from the support team on the PayPal Braintree thread.

So I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

Hey, sort of. I’m still wondering how to refund these. I still don’t know how to refund all my customers for their extra shipping.

I used the refund option in WooCommerce and the customer got notified that they had been refunded, but it doesn’t look like they actually got their money back. Paypal still shows the extra $4. Shouldn’t I be able to refund someone through WooCommerce’s dashboard? If they are getting notified that they have been refunded it seems like it should be possible.
