moses do the following please go to

wocommerce->settings->free shipping make sure this method is disabled

Then in your free shipping class which you have created make sure the cost entered is 0

the above two steps will definately solve your problem letme know

I only use flat rate shipping with price classes
I don’t use the free shipping method.

In the flat rate i created a class with free shipping
but now all the products show free shipping in the cart

so its a bit different then darpandalal situation

hi there i am having the same problem and customers have been given free shipping even though i do not have free shipping enabled, its since the woocommerce update, i use flat rate shipping and different shipping classes for different products, i have learnt that it is the qty code that is causing the issue and when i delete all info in the cost boxes of each class and just put a number like your photo shot above it works but i need it to charge this cost i.e. £5 per item not as a whole, please tell me you can help me, thank you, p.s. glad it is not just me i was livid when i saw what was happening x

    The little activity chest

    please check the below screenshot
    https://prntscr.com/851yl6

please ensure that you have 1 price class created inside flat rate shipping with £5 and that same class has to be applied to all the products

also ensure that you have the following option selected as the above screenshot i.e
Per class :Charge Shipping for each shipping class individually

letme know if that works for you thanks

also double ensure that free shipping method is disabled after going to wocommerce->settings->free shipping

ensure the enable free shipping box is ticked off since there was a bug earlier reported in this wocommerce upgrade which had free shipping on by default who knows that might be causing issue for you since you have that update and not the one released post that

    letme know
