We have set up flat rate shipping but somewhere I thought there was an option to click to use the more expensive shipping class if there is conflict.

Can you tell me where that is? We are grouping 2 products together in one box and each has a shipping class.

    Thanks

  • I believe it depends on your shipping method. If you are using the USPS Shipping Method extension then you should find the setting in:

WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Shipping Zones → Edit USPS

From there you should be able to add a Fallback price. You can read more on this in the support docs:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/usps-shipping-method/#section-4

You may also be referring to the fallback setting in the WooCommerce Services extension. That extension used to serve Live Shipping Rates but that service has been discontinued. You can review the documentation for that as well to be sure, but I don’t believe it’s possible to set that anymore due to the change in the extension.

    Thanks!

It looks like it’s you may have found a solution to this. I am going to mark this as Resolved at this time. If you have another issue please feel free to open a new post. ??

    Thanks!
