Flash uploader IO Error with https

I get an IO error if I try to upload images using the flash uploader when I’m logged in through https. It’s not a problem with the browser uploader, or if I log into admin through unsecured http.

The obvious answer is to use the browser uploader, but I have tons of image files I need to upload and uploading one by one is getting to be quite a pain. Anyone know if there’s a workaround to make the flash uploader work with https? Thanks!
