Flash swf in the header causing havoc

  • I’d inserted a swf [now removed!] into the head section of my site. All was well in Safari but it completely threw Opera, Firefox and IE – the content in the sidebar moved to the bottom while the footer content moved half way up the page. In IE the page was blank!
    I used the code from the HTML file generated by Flash [of course, changing the swf’s path].
    Oddly, it previewed fine in Firefox on my local [MAMP] server.
    Any ideas why the swf would cause these problems?
