I’ve tried a number of ways to improve (?) the ‘above the fold CSS’ but no luck yet.

The flash is really a nuisance. Guess I’ll have to turn off Optimize until I work out a solution.

well, simply disable “inline & defer” and you won’t have FOUC ??
