Flash Not Loading

    Hi
    I’ve been embedding audio files as Flash. Suddenly they don’t work any more. The Flash player is invisible on the blog and when I right click on the published post, it says ‘Flash not loaded’. Also when I am embedding I don’t get a preview any more and it tries to change to quicktime.

    Flash is working on other sites, and I have the latest version. I have cleared the cache and restarted both the browser and WordPress.

    Is this a WordPress issue? Is there anything I haven’t done that I should’ve?

    The reason I’m using Flash is because I want wmode=transparent. But even if I don’t make it transparent I still get nothing. It was working for a while though, which is what’s confusing me.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    I have now.
    The only plugins I have at the moment are Under Construction and WP-Sticky but I had these before I uploaded any media and they weren’t a problem up to now.
    It didn’t make any difference. It either tries to switch to quicktime as I’m embedding, and if I change it back to Flash it doesn’t work.

    I’ve also tried uploading Flash in another of my WordPress sites and the same thing is happening so I don’t think it’s corrupted files either.

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

    Haver you tried using another browser? Or another computer?

    Tried it in all browsers. Will try it on other computers when I get the change. Thinking of switching to WPaudio plugin if I can’t get it to work.

    I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Flash.

    I’ve also checked that my header and footer tags are intact and they are fine.

    But still no Flash.
